Welcome
Meadowgrove
is our family home on the outskirts of Wantage in the glorious Vale of
the White Horse. This site describes our small vineyard and the wines
we make from the grapes we grow. We don't do this commercially as we
are too small for that to be economic, but we do aim to make good
quality English Wine which we share with our relatives and friends,
many of whom assist us in the vineyard during the year.
Our
typical
production is around 1000 bottles of wine a year, mostly white. We have
won awards at a number of regional wine competitions and hope to
achieve more as our skills and knowledge improve.
We
aren't usually
open to the public but we do support activities like English Wine week,
so come back soon for details of when you will next be able to visit,
have a tour of the vineyard and winery, and taste some of our wines.
